Moodabidri: In memory of D. Sukhananda Shetty and D. Prashant Pujari, Hindu Jagran Forum, Hindu Yuva Vahini Mangalore, Rural District, Coastal Kesari Seva Trust (R.) Bedra led by Dakshina Kannada District Kabaddi Amateur Association in collaboration with Moodabidri Swarajya Maidan held an Open Style Flood Light Kabaddi match for Hindu Community.
Gopalakrishna Bhat, a leader of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, broke coconuts and started the drive. D. Prashant Pujari’s mother Yashoda lit the lamp and inaugurated it.
Minister V. Sunil Kumar participated and spoke and praised the Hindu Jagran Forum for conducting activities in a socially oriented manner.
MLA Umanatha Kotyan said that physical fitness is possible when youngsters are interested in Kabaddi, which is a local sport played on bare ground.

About 23 state level and 16 rural level teams participated.
In the 60 kg category, Sai Marnad came first, Ganesh Katte Navoor came second, Adishakti Mittur came third and Chukki Friends Polali came fourth.
In rural section V.S. Erangers Aliyur stood first, J.K. Attackers came second, Vishnukatte third and Inchara Pillya fourth.
