Moodbidire: The incident took place in Beluvai on Friday morning when the firemen of Moodbidire rescued a man who was in danger of drowning after accidentally slipping into a well.
Srinivasa, a resident of Padumarnad in his sixties, escaped with his life. It is said that Srinivasa had gone to Beluvai for labor work where he accidentally slipped and fell into the well in front of Geetha Clinic.
Under the command of Fire Station Officer Stephen De Silva, Chief Firefighter Mohammad K, Firefighter Suresh Rathoda, Srinivasa was rescued with the help of the Home Guards Ananda, Latesh, Sanmat and the public.
Police visited the spot and registered a case
