“India” in tricolor:
It was impressive to see the students standing in front of the wide open-air campus of Puttigepada in the way that “India” appeared in the tricolor in the midst of thousands of students. While 450 students represented the country’s sovereignty with the tricolor, 4,003 students created ‘India’ in the tricolor and conveyed the message of unity in diversity. Cultural programs promoting patriotism were entertained. The flag waved in the hands of the little ones and the dignitaries, the music played in the band set, and the patriotism in the singing of the students. After “Vande Mataram”, thousands of students and dignitaries joined in singing “Koti Kantha” and waved tricolor flags.
