Moodabidri: The Congress, which opposes the ideology of the BJP, is supporting the BJP itself out of an obsession with power. Therefore, there is no need to vote for the BJP, even if it is put to Congress, it will automatically be transferred to the BJP, said SDPI state leader, lawyer Hariram.

He participated in the inauguration of the SDPI office at Moodabidri and spoke at a public meeting at Swaraj Maidan.

Some of the Congressmen who got everything from the Congress in North Karnataka have deserted the Congress and joined the BJP. He asked what is the contribution of the Congress to the Dalits, Muslims, and Christians who have been hanging in the party for the past seventy years. He opined that SDPI will be that alternative government power in the near future.

The state BJP government is not a government that came to power through a democratic system, it is a government that has bought the legislators with money, and is destroying the democratic system. For the future of our children, all the oppressed should come together to bring an alternative party to power, he called on SDPI to be the choice of that alternative power.

Moodabidri Assembly Constituency candidate Alfonso Franco SP is saying that SDPI is the party of Barrys. But it’s National Vice President Kambli and General Secretary Sitarama Koiwara are not Barrys. During Corona, when their husbands, wives, fathers, and mothers died, when no one came to touch the corpse, it is the SDPI party that gave the dead a decent departure. SDPI state leader urged everyone to join hands with him to correct the injustices in Moodabidri and said that he does not see caste vote.

SDPI National Secretary Riyaz Farangipete, State Secretaries Ashraf Machar, Ananda Mittabail, State Committee Member Athavullah Jokatte etc. spoke.
Aisha Bajpe, Victor Martis, Jamal Jokatte, Nisar Maravoor, Rifat, Tahira Handelu, Shahraz, Siddique U.K, Salam Surinje and others were present.
Moodbidire assembly constituency president Asif Kotebagilu welcomed the gathering. District General Secretary Anwar Sadat gave an introductory speech.
Earlier, a procession was held in the city by activists.
