Moodabidri: Former minister Abhayachandra Jain said at a news conference on Tuesday that the corruption in various government departments, including the Taluk office, is rampant, the Block Congress would hold a protest in front of the taluk office at 10am on Wednesday.
The people’s applications have been remained in various departments, including the Taluk Office and Survey Department, for months and years. The work of money laundering is done soon. Corruption is on the rise and officials and employees have forgotten to behave with people.
During my 20 -year legislature, I visited various departments once a week and boosted the authorities. The present lawmakers arent doing this and hence there has been a delay in getting the work of the people done.
With the encouragement of lawmakers, sand dumps are also increasing across the taluk. He alleged that the lease of various major buildings, including the administration, was being paid only to the legislators’ salaries.
