Moodabidri: Muhammad Wasi Puttige has been elected as the new president of the minority unit of the Block Congress.
District Congress Minority Unit President Shahul Hameed K. handed over the appointment order to Wazir in a program held in Mangalore on Thursday.
Wazir has been working hard for party organization as an active worker of Congress for the past many years. Former minister K. Abhayachandra congratulated Wazir who was elected as the new president.
