Moodabidri: Mulki-Moodabidri mandal president Sunil Alva informed in a press conference on Friday that the backward classes district convention will be held at Moodabidri Swarajya Maidan on March 19 from 3.30 pm on behalf of district BJP backward classes morcha.
10 to 15 thousand people will participate in this convention. In the interest of the election, various conventions have been organized in different parts of the district. Union Minister Purushottama Rupal will inaugurate the conference. Legislative Council member N. L. Narendra Babu, BJP state secretary Ravikumar, MLAs, and other leaders in the district will participate, he said.
MLA Umanatha Kotyan said that we are preparing a referendum for the creation of a manifesto addressed to the constituency. A meeting of all community leaders will be held on March 26 and a manifesto will be formulated after taking their advice. He said that all communities will be given equal priority.
Backward Classes district leaders Mahesh, Rajesh, Mandal Secretary Gopal Shettigar, Keshav, and others were present at the press conference.
