Moodabidri: Higher Education Minister Dr. C Ashwathtanarayana, who has stated that Siddaramaiah should be shot like Tippusultan, has spoken offensive and despicable words against former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a public meeting in Mandya. Former Minister Abhayachandra Jain has demanded that the Prime Minister and the President should instruct the Chief Minister to take action against the minister.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, he said that education minister Ashwathanarayana, who had politicians like former prime minister Vajpayee in the BJP, had spoken in a way that incited communal sentiments, showing his low mentality and that of BJP leaders. He said that using bad words to criticize the leaders of another party for getting votes does not bring glory to any leader. He said that the education minister’s speech has made intelligent people hang their heads in shame.
