Moodabidri: Anupama Kamath (54), a resident of Alangaru Basavanakaje, a decorator, passed away at a private hospital in Mangalore on Monday after a brief illness.
She is survived by her husband Hainodyami M. Ganesh Kamath, a son and a daughter.
Anupama Kamath, a JOC diploma graduate, has been working as a Prasadana and bridal decoration expert for the past two decades. She also had special expertise in the preparation of decorative flower garlands and had also been conducting a special floral arrangement of jasmine for the Goddess for the Moodabidri Ponnechari Saraday procession for the past few years.
Known as an active worker of BJP, she had also contested Panchayat elections in Basavanakaje constituency earlier.
