Moodabidri: On the occasion of the second district-level convention to be held on February 28 at the popular garden of Mani Neralkatte in collaboration with Karnataka State SDMC Coordinating Forum, DK, and Department of School Education and Literacy, DK, a preliminaries meeting and invitation letter release ceremony was organized on Tuesday at Maine School.
Moodabidri District Education Officer Y. Ganesh released the invitation letter and spoke about the role of SDMC in school development. He requested the members of SDMC to participate in large numbers in the district convention and to make it successful.
Moidin Kutty, Chairman of Karnataka State SDMC Coordinating Committee informed about the responsibilities of SDMC and the purpose of the conference and said that in this conference there will be a felicitation program for active school development and supervision committees.
Taluk Administrator and Moodabidri Mine School Development Committee Chairperson Chanchalakshi, District S.D.M.C. Vice President Umar Farooq, District Member Usman Nekkielu, Group Resource Person of local cluster Adarsh participated in this meeting and wished good luck.
Anasuya, the school headmistress, welcomed and Nagaveni, Group Resource Person of Moodabidri cluster presented the program.
SDMC office bearers of 20 schools in Moodabidri zone participated in this meeting.
