Moodabidri: Krishi-Khushi and Vanamahotsava programme was jointly organised by Krishi Vichara Sambhrama Kendra, Samaja Mandira and MCS Bank, Moodabidri at Kalpavriksha Auditorium of MCS Bank here on Saturday September 24.
MCS Bank Chairman M. Baahubali Prasad inaugurated the event.
Muniraja Renjala, a Retired Headmaster of Jain High School participated as a resource person and said that farmers do not need to walk and jog. Their body is exercised while doing daily agricultural activities. He said that his former student Vanisree Sriharsha, who had achieved success in agriculture and had moved on to a good farm, had found success in agriculture.
Jinendra Hegde, President, Agriculture Exchange, presided over the function. T. Shyam Prasad of All India Radio, Mangaluru, N. Satish, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Moodabidri, Abhay Kumar, Secretary, Agriculture Exchange Centre and others were present.
