Moodabidri: Altar servers and Marian Girls Sodality Day was celebrated at Alangar on Sunday September 11.
Over 18 new altar servers were initiated for the service at the alter. Prizes of various activities were distributed on this occasion.
Mass, cultural programme was resented by the sodality members. Commission Convenor Rajesh D’Souza was the chief guest.
Parents of sodality members, and catechism teachers were present on the occasion. Delicious home made food was served to all.
Liturgy commission and Bible and catechism commission helped out to organise the programme under the direction of the parish priest and sodality animators Sr. Helen Goveas and Sr. Ancita Moses.
Riya Fernandes compered, Allan Pinto President of altar servers welcomed the gathering, Shina Moras, the President of Marian Girls Sodality rendered the vote of thanks.
Over 200 people participated in the programme.
