Moodabidri: In 59th Moodbidri Ganeshotsava procession panaka served using coconut shell won people’s Heart.
Using naturally available eco-friendly coconut shell trend was introduced by Moodabidri Jain PU College Lecturer Sandhya.
In olden days may be with the thought of good health or because of financial issues, those who were not able to buy steel glasses, used coconut shells to drink coffee, water or to eat food.
But as we developed we got attracted towards plastic glass, steel glass and paper glass.
But distributing kashaya in shells now has attracted everyone’s praise.
