Balalaya Pratistha at Maruru Hosangadi Gopalakrishna Kodamanittaya Temple

Moodbidire: The Maruru Hosangadi Sri Gopalakrishna Kodamanittaya Temple, which has a history of around 800 years, has been built at a cost of around Rs 4.25 crore. It was planned to restore the Gopalakrishna deity Sankocha Balalaya Pratistha under the leadership of Edapada Tenkumane Muralidhara Tantri.

MLA Umanatha Kotyan released a petition for the restoration of the temple along with its history and promised to provide grants from MLA’s fund and MP’s fund through Nalinkumar Kateelu.

Former Minister K. Abhayachandra Jain, Mithun Rai, businessman A.K. Rao, Temple Administration Moktesara Hosangadi Palace S. Sampath Kumar Shetty, Chairman of the Rehabilitation Committee K. Sripati Bhatt, Managing Committee Secretary Maruru Khandiga Ramdasa Asranna, Principal Guide A. Jeevandhara Kumar Padyarabetta, Working President Shambhu N. Shetty, Secretary Gopal Kotyan Banilu, Treasurer Sridhara Kemmar and other office bearers of the temple, Guthu Barke and villagers were present.
