Moodabidri: Rotary District Governor Prakash Karanth said in a press conference that Rotary District 3181, which includes four revenue districts, has conducted various service activities at a total cost of 4.12 crores in the year 2022-2023.

1 crore for providing basic facilities for primary education, 13 lakh for water and sanitation purposes, 52 lakh for environmental works, 65 lakh for other social works, 1 lakh for maternal and health programmes. Dialysis centers, blood banks have been opened in various hospitals. He said that a breast milk center has been opened in Mangalore. He said that 87 clubs are active in the district and are responding to the requirements of the respective areas.

President of Rotary Club Moodabidri Temple Town Praveen Perera said that the club has installed Rotary Forest in Kodangalli, renovation of various bus stands, and CC cameras in Temple Town Park for safety reasons.

Rotary District Secretary Narayana Hegde, Deputy Governor M. V Bhatt, Zonal Lieutenant Vincent DeCosta, Temple Town Secretary Dr. Amardeep were present.
