Moodabidri: A man who accidently fell in Masthikatte was taken to his native Moradabad of Uttar Pradesh in an ambulance from Moodabidri after few days’ treatment.

Ambulance Service Owner and Driver Anil Mendonsa and Driver Ashwath shifted M. Hassan to a hospital in Moradabad. Hassan had been hospitalised at Alva’s Health Centre, Moodabidri with severe injuries after he fell while working in an arecanut godown at Masthikatte. He had been under treatment till September 9.

On his family’s request, the hospital discharged the patient and advised them to take him home by plane. On September 9, Mendonsa took Hassan with his father and friend to Mangaluru International Airport in his ambulance. However the private plane did not allow a patient with oxygen support to travel and hence he was shifted to his native in ambulance at owner’s risk.
