Moobidire: A case was registered at the Moobidire police station against a tipper lorry driver for hitting a man with a rod. The man had told the driver to not drive the vehicle rashly, as it was lifting dust off the road.
Fayaz (61), a resident of Kotebagil, was the murdered person. While Fayaz was walking to the Kotebagilu Masjid for Namaz on Friday, a resident of Kotebagilu, tipper driver called Arees, was driving the tipper at high speed. This caused a lot of dust to fall on Fayaz. This made Fayaz angry and he asked the truck driver to slow down.
After finishing Namaz, the two of them again engaged in verbal tiff. When Fayaz went to the steps of the tipper to speak Arees hit him on the head with a rod, started the tipper, and drove off. Fayaz fell on to the road and the tipper ran over him.
Fayaz was hit by a rod and fell into the tipper’s path and got run over. He died while being rushed to the hospital by the public.
Arees, the tipper driver left the tipper and ran away. The public suspected that Arees had consumed marijuana while driving. The police have laid a trap to find the driver.
