Moodbidire: Moodbidire Sri Kshetra Dharmasthal Village Development Project BC Trust and Mahila Gnana Vikas organized a women’s seminar at the taluk level Mahila Gnyana Vikas program at Brahmashree Narayanaguru Mandir of Swarajya Maidan on Monday. Former minister K. Abhayachandra Jain inaugurated the conference.

Hemavati Hegde said that women should have equal rights to speak. She said that she has made a great contribution to society by starting the Knowledge Development Center which aims at doing work that empowers women.

Madhumala K, Associate Professor, Department of Social Work, Alva’s College, participated as a resource person and spoke on the topic “Role of women in preserving traditional culture”. We women who devote more time to family members must ask ourselves how much time we dedicate to ourselves. Adopt proper eating habits to boost confidence. Teach children responsibilities and make them understand their emotions, fill them with the strength to face difficulties and create a suitable environment at home and make it a habit to set aside time for children and go out with them at least once a month, she suggested.

Mr. Kshetra Dharmasthal Village Development Yojana, District Director of BC Trust, Satish Shetty participated as the chief guest and advised that besides becoming self-reliant, women should also pay attention to their health and imbibe the qualities of facing problems together.
Suresh K. Pujari, president of Moodbidire Seva Sangh presided.
Distribution of Permits: Permits were distributed to Sushila, Hema, Lata Hegde, and Deepika, members of various Jnana Vikas Kendra who have received rickshaw training for self-employment.

Congress leader Mithun Rai, Field Health Education Officer Sushila were the chief guests.
Narayana Shetty, Project Officer, Moodbidire, Shri. Mamata, Zonal supervisor  narrated the program. Knowledge Development Coordinating Officer Vidya thanked.
