Moodbidire: The week of Sri Ramayana Darshanam Talmaddale was inaugurated on Tuesday at the Brahmananda Sadan of Ashwatthapura Sri Sitaramchandra Temple as the silver jubilee of Kuri Vithala Shastiç Cultural Foundation.
The administrator of the temple Moktesara Raghunath VL inaugurated the week saying Yakshagana creates in us religious and cultural consciousness. Harikrishna Punaruru, former president of Rajya Kasapa presided.
Artist Ujire Aneika Bhatt, who is leading the week, said that the cultural foundation established in 1998 in the name of Kuria Vithala Shastiç had planned to hold 100 talammaddale performance in the whole of Karnataka in the year of its silver jubilee.
Ashwatthapura temple priest Prabhakar Bhat, businessman AK Rao, Kinnigoli Yugapurusha K. Nellimaru Sadashivarao of Bhuvanabhirama Udupa, Yaksha Chaitanya, Yaksha Menaka were present.
