Moodabidri: On the occasion of World Hearing Day, a free hearing test camp was held at Jain Medical Center Hospital in Jyoti Nagar on Friday.
Rajaram Nagarkatte, President of Taluk Pensioners Association, inaugurated the event. Sushant Karkera of Moodabidri Yuvavahini, Rotary Club Moodabidri Temple Town Secretary Dr. Amardeep was the chief guest.
Dr Mahaveer Jain, an ear, nose and throat specialist at the hospital gave information about deafness and told that 6 crore people in India are suffering from the problem of hearing loss. Dr. Pranamya Jain saluted. About 65 people were examined for free and 25 of them were given hearing test.
