Babu Pujari’s family was gifted a new house “Tudar”

Moobidire: A new house “Tudar” built at a cost of Rs 7 lakh was handed over to Babu Pujari’s family who had been living in a plastic-covered house for the last many years, under the leadership of Kumar, Rotary Club of Mid Town, T.P. member Rita Kutinha on Saturday.

President of Rashtriya Billava Mahamandal Rajasekhar Kotyan inaugurated the program and spoke. MLA Umanatha Kotyan handed over the key and said that food to eat, clothes to wear, and a house to stay in are essential things that everyone needs. Giving shelter to a poor family is a good thing. Govt will provide houses to the poor but need proper documents. It is difficult to give a house because the documents are not correct. Because of this, they will have to build houses with the help of donors and wish them to never forget those who helped build houses for them so that in the future, their children will develop the character of helping other underprivileged people.

Former Minister K. Abhayachandra Jain presided over the speech and said that he helped the poor and helped him to be elected as MLA for the last four times. Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi passed the Uluvavane Holadodeya law, which helped Billava, Devadiga, SC, ST people by getting ownership of land. Hinduism is not just one’s property. Those who talk about patriotism and the poor should send their children to the military, only then will they be entitled to talk about patriotism, he said, adding that Kumar and donors have done a good job by providing shelter to the poor.
Honored: Donor, electrical contractor Kumar was honored on this occasion. And the donors who have cooperated were recognized and honored.
Youth leader Mithun Rai, T.P. ex-member Rita Kutinha, Iruvail G.P. President Valerian Kutinha, Municipal Member Suresh Kotyan, Chandraraja Balipa of Todaru Guth, APMC member Chandrahasa Sanil, Rotary Club of Midtown President Pushparaj Jain participated as chief guests. Babu Pujari couple were present on this occasion.
