Moodbidri: Three people, including a 1.5-year-old child, died from a car hitting a bus in Maineru under Nellikaru district today.
A Bengaluru-based couple drove from Belthangadi toward Karkala with their 1.5-year-old child. A bus named Vishal was arriving from Karkala towards Belthangadi, and the car rammed into the bus. It got stuck under the bus, causing the three to die on the spot.
The car was from Bengaluru, and the police visited the spot and started an investigation. The three dead bodies were removed with the cooperation of the public. The public has been informed that the couple is in their thirties.
