Moobidire: Famous background singer Shankar Mahadevan’s troupe performed at the jamboree with Bhakti songs and Masti that enlivened the over 50,000 audiences. The concert which lasted for about 2 hours added to the splendor of the Jamboree.
On the second day of the Jamboree, Shankar Mahadevan sang a few songs in Kannada, Hindi and Tamil with his Mumbai team along with Vanajakshi, K.Sreepati Bhat on stage and gave a treat to the music lovers. He began the musical evening program by Commemorating Lord Ganesha with Gananayakayaka Ganadaivataya through his melodious singing,
Later he performed a musical jugal-bandi with more than 50,000 spectators gathered there, to the tune of Athiratha Maha Ratha Sarathi. He sang Pretty Woman and stepped on stage saying it’s the time to disco.
Tribute was paid to Karnataka Ratna, Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar with the song Kal Ho Na Ho, Followed by a Hindustani song that brought some cheer to the ambiance which had gone silent during the tribute. . He entertained the crowd by singing Jai Jai Bajrangi, Kya karege, Kajarare
