Moodabidri: Upholding the rule of law is not just the job of the courts. Every citizen’s accountability/justice process should be free from external influencing factors. Judiciary has made many contributions to the country. Lately, many have felt that they have failed and been delayed at times. Retired Lokayukta, Justice N. Santhosh Hegde said that crimes are also increasing.
He was speaking at a leadership training program organized by Alva’s Education Foundation in collaboration with Karnataka Government Youth Empowerment and Sports Department at K Amarnath Shetty Forum, Mundrudeguthu, Vidyagiri on the occasion of Alva’s Republic Day.
Karnataka State Backward Classes Commission Chairman K. Jayaprakash Hegde said that the problem is that some politicians spend time blaming each other instead of doing their duty. He said that it is inevitable that all citizens should transform into opinion commentators.
Former member of Vidana Parishad K. Ganesh Karnik, Mangalore City Police Commissioner K. Sasikumar gave a lecture on leadership.
