Moodabidri: A request was made to Education Officer Ganesh Y on behalf of the Moodabidri Municipality and the Rotary Club, seeking full cooperation from the education board to conduct training on life skills rules for the children of the Anganwadi under the jurisdiction of the municipality up to the 7th standard in 2 classes a week.
Municipal Member P.K.Thomas spoke to the media and said that the Rotary Club and Moodabidri Municipality have started a program to teach life skills to the children and a lot of effort is needed for this program. Everyone’s cooperation is also needed. He said that we are going to conduct a program to teach life skills in all schools in the near future by teaching the skills needed for life to the children of St. Thomas, D.J, Aliyur, and other schools.
Respect for elders, self-hygiene and a clean environment, adherence to traffic rules, saving habits, good behavior, the value of time, health is fortune, love of nature, participation in activities, philanthropy, and sharing spirit and our culture are taught.
