Moodbidire: A health awareness program was organized for students under the auspices of Sri Mahaveera College Student Union, NCC, NSS, Red Cross, and Rangers units.
Divya M.P., Consultant, Integrated Counseling and Testing Center, Community Health Center, Moodbidiri, informed the students about the characteristics of HIV, modes of transmission, consequences of this disease, and precautions to be taken to stay safe in future life.
Moodbidire Community Health Center Health Education Officer Sushila K. participated in a program to create awareness among adolescent girls, and informed the students about monthly menstrual cycle management, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Principal of Graduate College Dr. Radhakrishna presided. Principal of undergraduate college Prof. Ramesh Bhatt, IQAC and Student Union Convenor Nalini, NCC Officer Vijayalakshmi, Degree College ENESS Officer Sharada, Rangers Officer Rashmita, Undergraduate NSS Officer Purnima were present. Student Sinchana welcomed and Henvil narrated the program.
