Moodbidire: Alva’s College alumnus, high jumper Abhinaya S., will be part of the 25-member team representing India in the Asian Indoor Athletics Championship to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan from February 10 to 12.
Hailing from Karkala, Abhinaya was educated in Alva’s College from 8th standard to graduation under Alva’s Education Foundation’s Sports Adoption Scheme. Presently employed in Western Zone Railway in Mumbai. Awardee of Eklavya Award, Abhinaya’s achievement was appreciated by the Chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation, Dr. M. Mohan Alva.
