Moodabidri: The Alvas Theater Studies Team, which represented the University of Mangalore, won the second prize at the 36th All India Inter -VV Youth Festival organized by the All India University University at Jain University, Bangalore.
For the 13th time, the Alvas Theater Studies Team has won the National Award. Bhuvan Manipal Ranga and directed Duryodha Ekanka, under the guidance of Kuvempu’s Kurukshetha, Kuvempu, Bhasa Poet, and theater director Jeevan Ram, presented the drama.
Ujwal Design, Sripada Tirthahalli and Harshita Shiruru are the musicians of the Alvas Theater Studies Center, Gagan Shetty, Ronit Roy, Karthik Kumar, Josit P. Shetty, Srikantha Rao, Manish, Ravanna Pinto, Likita AP, Vanyashree HC.
The winning team was led by the President of the Alvas Education Foundation, Dr. M. Mukherjee. Mohan Alva congratulated.
