Moodbidire: National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAC) has given A+ accreditation to Alva’s Engineering Ag College with CGPA 3.32 in the first round. Dr. M Mohan Alva, President of Alvas Education Foundation, said in a press conference that the accreditation has been announced for the next five years.
NAC Team Visit, Verification:
Dr. Suresh Verma, Chancellor of CSE College of Engineering, Adikavi Nannaya University, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh led the NYAC team. Dr. Malbika Deo, Professor School of Management, Pondicherry University, and Dr. Vijay Thackeray, Secretary of Sri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati were members of the team. The three-member NAAC team visited the institution on January 13 and 14, 2023, and thoroughly evaluated the educational preparation and supplementary arrangements.
The team scrutinized and measured the organization based on the key seven dimensions of NAC’s qualitative measurement. The team commended the institute in its exit meeting on January 14 based on these dimensions: curricular elements, teaching-learning and assessment, research, innovation and extension programs, infrastructure and learning resources, student encouragement and progress, governance, leadership and management, and institutional values and best practices. Dr. Mohan Alva said.
Alvas Engineering College has entered into academic collaborations and agreements with industry and organizations like IISC ISRO, NRSC, Kumamoto University-Japan, SKF, TCS-ION, Toyota-Kirloskar, etc. to prepare students for the challenges of the contemporary technology-based world. NAAC has been awarded A+ Grade Accreditation with CGPA of 3.32 due to its active partnerships with reputed institutes and industries and high commitment to quality education. He said that Computer Science and Engineering and Electronic and Communication Engineering have been accredited and re-accredited by the National Assessment Board for a period of three years in 2019 and 2022.
